Century Radio woz ere
Good to see Amazing Radio making use of studios and offices previously used by Century Radio in Gateshead.
The station announced today it was expanding to include more producers, presenters and office staff to launch an extra bunch of online streams, and continue with its spot on the Digital One national multiplex.
And because they are such nice people, they will donate all their potential...

8 years ago, the commercial radio marketplace was very different. The heritage stations provided distinctively local services and rightly dominated their local markets. Most of the regional and “sallie” stations were struggling to make ends meet. New talent was still emerging….
